Lied for a motorcycle insurance quote

I asked an insurance company for a motorcycle insurance quote and told them I had already done the MSF course and got my M2 license. I actually have the course booked for next month and that’s also when I’ll get my license. The agent on the phone saved my quote info and told me to come in whenever I wanted to start my policy. Does it matter that I told them the wrong dates so I could get an accurate quote based on when I’d actually get my license? I won’t start my policy until then

edit: Im from Ontario

  2. Unless you were asked when you got your license and lied, you should be fine. As I understand it, you weren’t asked that question and don’t intend on starting the coverage until you are licensed. If I’m right, you haven’t lied in a way that changes anything.
